Fratello`s in Avon Lake

One of the best meals you'll ever have! Some of the best service to go along with it too! If you're disappointed in any way, it's totally your fault.

Decent spot. Food is “suburban good” not “downtown” quality. The place lacks ambiance as it is a converted 7/11.

Been going for at least 10 years. The quality of the food & wait staff is always amazing. Unfortunately last night not an enjoyable dining experience. The owner, hostess & bus staff were annoying & ruined our dinner. Between the endless trips of the bus staff & hostess passing our table & looking at our 2 seat table nestled against the a wall, as soon as a fork was put down for a minute asking to clear the table, to the owner standing in the middle of the room glaring at those having conversation & finishing wine & dessert. What made it worse as the bill was left & he quickly picked up our credit card, didn’t say hello, didn’t ask how the meal or service was and when he returns with our $100+ check for two he didn’t even say Thank you. We love to support small business & families but we won’t be back anytime soon as our money is earned too, we know where we are appreciated. Remember to Be kind & say Thank you.

We dined in last weekend, and had a very safe and enjoyable experience. The tables along the walls are separated by screen type partitions, and the few center tables are well space apart. The staff all wore masks as did the customers, while moving about. The bar also has partitions for those customers.This was only our second time dining in since March, and we felt very safe. The food was very good as usual.

Wonderful food and atmosphere!

Best Italian food this side of Italy. Fratello sauce is world class....house Chianti is delicious. Nicest people I have ever dealt with at a restaurant,waitress was absolutely the best. Veal Fratello is fit for the emperor Ceasar.

Food is excellent. Service excellent. Try Italian flavor and dishes. Love the menu. I think I’ve had everything on it. Service is quick and accurate. Not a single thing I could think of.

Food was great. But very pricey. We had made a reservation through the Google website and were told by the owner that he doesn't observe the reservations on line. He proceeded to tell us that he only accepts reservations by phone. I then informed him that he then needs to revamp his website. He then stated "Shame on Google."We had to wait for a table but he did eventually seat us. Also just Fyi the salads dont come with the meal.This restaurant needs to update its reservation policy to the 21st Century!!

Always the best Italian food on the west side. The chick special and chicken fratello were great.

This place has been around for a long time. However! The food while classic, never feels old and is always great, Ron and all the servers are really good. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Surprisingly nice wine list.

We stayed in for my husband’s birthday tonight, ordered carry-out for dinner from Fratello’s. As always, not disappointed. We had the Hot Antipasta for Two, Pescitore, and Chicken Paremesana. Absolutely delicious! Fratello’s is always awesome!!

Food is fantastic but the service really stands out. Never had to wait for refills, really friendly. Can't recommend enough.

Very nice service. Everyone is very professional and courteous. Food is amazing. Variety of seafood and Italian dishes and a bunch of original dishes created by the chef. Good portion sizes as well.I would recommend to everyone that they experience this restaurant at least once in their life.

Delicious meal..the linguine with clam sauce was out of this world..the bread was warm and crusty.. great atmosphere and the service was great..waiter was professional and attentive even when they were busy.. highly recommend this place for a great meal and cozy date night atmosphere.

Even ordering lunch-to-go is a great idea. Fratello's is a wonderful little gem tucked away off the beaten path. The prices reflect the excellent quality and service.

Food was ok nothing great, service was decent. Vary Loud atmosphere. Limited parking and seating.

Truly a fantastic hidden gem. Don't miss it.

The only good part to visiting this building was that my boyfriend proposed....The food quality was disgusting and so over priced, I wish I looked at the reviews before deciding to go. All I order was a 6 dollar Cesar salad, which was so over dressed and soggy. Burnt croutons and why black olives? I was hoping at least the parmesan cheese would make it worth it, but I was again sadly disappointed. It was the FAKE shaker cheese that you can get from Aldi. So was the pasta! 19 dollars for a meal I could have paid 50cents for. Thanks for a memorable night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND any eating here. Plus the waiter never came to the table, only the water boy, about 8 times.

Food is always delicious. Very pleasant waitress. We are always pleased with our visits here.

Salad does not come with the meal. The pasta you can get as a side is a good portion. The food was really good. Was not offered a dessert selection, it's possible that they don't do dessert. They really want to sell you wine.

Mmmm. The artichoke appetizer was wonderful. And the eggplant parmesan--so thinly sliced and stacked, so generous with Fratello's amazing sauce! And our server was so kind and helpful! Looking forward to our next visit.

I have never come here and not had an excellent meal. Highly recommend their shrimp fratello, and chicken rollatini. Come here, you will not be disappointed

Best birthday dinner!! Just wish they had more than one salad dressing and a few frozen drinks. The Shrimp Fratellos is unbelievable!! Sooo good!!

Most delicious Italian food. Perfection.

Just ordered takeout! Even though we live 30 minutes away it was excellent! Order, order and keep them going! And don’t forget to add a tip!!

Has my favorite eggplant Parmesan and many other excellent entrees. You will never go wrong with the food. The service is very gracious. The only downside is highly variable time to be seated or to be served. When the timing is good, you have a great experience. When the timing is bad, it ruins your appetite. Tonight's timing was bad and my dining partners were very upset, ruining the meal for all. Also, typical restaurant bathroom not set up for safe hand washing. You have to touch the faucet fixture and towel dispenser after washing your hands. It would be inexpensive to replace both and get a clean bill from a health inspector.

Consistently good food over the years. Service a little slow on Dec 26th but otherwise excellent.

Been going here since I moved out to Avon in the '90s! I have never had an average dining experience. Ron/Craig & the staff have always made us feel like family and our dining experiences have been fabulous! The food is always magnificently prepared and the bar service is exceptional! Please give this establishment one try to make you a customer for life b/c that is what will happen! We are customers for life!

Local Hidden Gem! This small brother owned restaurant fires on all six cylinders! Their house special, chicken and veal Fratello style is worth the trip. Having lived in the area, I make a special trip there when I fly back from my home in Chi or now FL. Well stocked wine list at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, small well stocked bar round out this out of the way find!

Fratellos lemon butter sauce is to die for

The restaurant was very crowded but this is expected at Fratello's. We waited for about an hour for a table but it was worth every minute. The food and service is outstanding!

We love Fratello's. Nothing fancy but great food. Weekend specials draw big crowds with no reservations. Extensive wine list with interesting twist of a $20 gift certificate for bottles over $80.Fratello sauce is to die for on just about anything, but especially on the Shrimp. Drinks are big. Friendly and efficient waitstaff.
